- Check the power cord to ensure it is securely connected to the power outlet.
 - Check to ensure that the power outlet is turned on.
 - Check the printer to see if there are any error messages.
 - Verify that the printer is not in the power-saving sleep mode by pressing a key on the computer’s keyboard or pushing a button on the printer.
 - Unplug the power cord, then plug it in again.
 - Verify that the print job has finished by opening the Windows Print Queue to clear any completed jobs.
