- Check Cable Connections – Ensuring USB cords and cables are connected properly and securely between printer and computer.
 - Inspect Drivers and Software Components – Make sure the printer driver is installed correctly. Install printer software corresponding to the model of printer you are using.
 - Uninstall/Reinstall Printer – Uninstall and then reinstall the components associated to the printer.
 - Restart Computer and Printer – Power cycle the printer and computer to see if the issue is resolved.
