1. Ensure that your printer is switched on and is showing indicative lights.
2. Check to make sure that all the cables and cords are properly connected to both the printer and the print server.
3. Make sure that your printer is connected to the same network as the print server. You can do this by checking the associated network IP address.
4. Sometimes, when you use a third party software such as a firewall, it may delete some of your settings. Try reinstalling the software or manually resetting the settings.
5. For older models of printers, consider if any drivers need to be upgraded.
6. It may be that your printer is not configured to interact with your print server. Visit the Manufacturer’s website to troubleshoot and make any additional settings changes.
7. If the above steps were not successful, consider resetting your printer to factory settings and reconfiguring it for use with the print server again.
