Why is my laptop screen flickering after updating drivers?

1. Restart your computer
2. Check to make sure your brightness settings are properly adjusted
3. Run a hardware diagnostics check on your laptop
4. Check for any external interference from other devices
5. Update your laptop drivers
6. Uninstall and reinstall the driver that was just updated
7. Re-run a hardware diagnostics check
8. Replace your laptop’s display screen if all else fails
