Why is my document showing as locked for editing by myself in SharePoint?

1. Navigate to the document in question
2. Check which account has the lock
3. Check the user’s authority level with those document
4. Optionally, reset all locks by a script
5. Adjust user permission
   or
6. Disable the Lock feature
