- Check the settings of email client:
Make sure you’ve set your email client up to deliver emails from the desired folder and ensure the settings match the server.
- Ensure you’re using the right curent address:
Malformed email addresses or incorrect usernames can cause emails to be sent to the wrong folder.
- Check your junk folder:
Emails which the server considers to be unsolicited or unidentified automatically gets sent to your junk / spam folder.
- Check the header of the email:
Check the header of email to see determine its source address. You can also review the copy of an email delivery attempted by the sender.
- Add rules or filters:
If needed, add rules or filters to email server settings to deliver emails into the appropriate folder.
