Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security mechanism that provides enhanced security to a user account or system by requiring additional verification, such as a one-time code sent to a registered phone number or a biometric scan, in order to access the account or system.
To enhance security, the following should be done:
- Enable two-factor or multi-factor authentication wherever it’s available.
 - Choose passwords that are as long and strong as possible. Avoid common words or phrases and use a mix of upper and lower case letters, special characters, and numbers.
 - Create different passwords for every account.
 - Creating a password manager to keep track of passwords is highly encouraged.
 - Secure all devices with a strong passcode.
 - Delete anything that seems suspicious from online accounts or emails
