My shared drive is showing duplicated files, how do I remove them?

Step 1: Review the local copy on your PC to make sure that the duplicated files are not also saved locally.
Step 2: Back up the current files and folders to an external hard drive.
Step 3: Delete all instances of the duplicated files in the shared drive.
Step 4: Use the backed up files to replace the deleted duplicated files in the shared drive.
