How do I troubleshoot connection issues with a gaming console on my Smart TV?

  1. Check Your Wired or Wi-Fi Connections
    Ensure the USB cable connected to your game console is properly connected to your TV and your TV is connected to your router or modem by Wi-Fi or Wired (Ethernet) connection.
  2. Check Your Network Connection
    Access your Smart TV's network settings and make sure your Network status reads as Connected.
  3. Check Your Firewall Settings
    Check your firewall settings and make sure they aren't blocking your gaming console's connection.
  4. Check Your DNS Settings
    In some cases, your DNS settings might be blocking your gaming console's connection. Change your DNS settings to public DNS.
  5. Reboot Your Smart TV
    Reset and restart your Smart TV and your game console just to make sure everything is up to date.
