How do I troubleshoot a slow internet connection on my smart thermostat?
- Check your internet connection. Test your modem connection by unplugging it, waiting for 15 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
 - Check for any internet service provider outages.
 - Reset your router and modem. Turn off the modem, then unplug modem and router from power. Leave them for about 15 minutes.
 - Update your router firmware.
 - Check your Wi-Fi signal. Move closer to the router or Wi-Fi access point and test the speed again.
 - Restart your device. Unplug the device, wait 15 seconds, reconnect it, and then run another speed test.
 - Check for possible interference. Remove large items that could be blocking the signal, such as microwaves and fish tanks.
