To transfer the infrastructure master role in Active Directory, follow these steps:

1. Open the Active Directory Sites and Services console.
2. Navigate to the domain controllers node.
3. Check the current FSMO role holders in the PDC.
4. If necessary, transfer the Infrastructure Master FSMO role to a special domain controller following the guidelines below:

   • The Infrastructure Master should never be installed on the same domain controller as the primary domain controller.
