To format a USB drive on your Smart TV, please follow the steps below:

1. Connect the USB drive to the Smart TV
2. Press the Menu button on the remote control
3. Navigate to Device Preferences and then select USB devices, Storage and then Format
4. Choose Yes to confirm formatting the drive and press Ok
5. Wait for the formatting process to finish then press Exit to exit the menu
