Below are some suggested steps and tips to fix a missing or corrupted system restore point on your PC:

 - Unless otherwise specified, restart your computer before proceeding. t
 - Create System Restore Point manually if System Restore tool does not work. t
 - Disable and then re-enable System Restore in the System Properties window. t
 - Use the System Restore tool to back up files or reinstall older versions of files. t
 - If the Error Message suppressed, install the relevant Service pack t
 - Perform a full system scan with a reliable anti-virus tool. t
 - Run sfc/scannow command in the Command Prompt.
