- Check if the audio drivers are up-to-date.
- Restart the device.
- Identify if the issue is caused by external hardware devices you have connected to your laptop.
- Check if the volume is on maximum or adjust the volume from the Sound Control Panel.
- Look for internal or external speaker issues caused by dirt, dust or other physical obstacles.
- Check if the speakers work from boot up.
- Generate a sound sample test from the Audio Control Panel.
- If none of these work take your laptop to a technician.
