1. To open the Equation dialog box, click on the ‘Insert’ tab at the top of the Excel window and select ‘Equation’ from the Symbols group.

2. Enter the desired mathematical expression into the Equation dialog box.

3. Click ‘OK’ to insert the equation into the Excel worksheet.
