Why is my printer heating up and giving off a burning smell?

  1. Turn off and unplug the printer.

  2. Check for any obstruction or blockage in or around the printer and its components.

  3. Look for any loose parts or wires.

  4. Clean the paper tray and remove any stuck paper.

  5. Check the printer settings and request a reprint.

  6. Check the ink cartridges and make sure there is enough ink.

  7. Replace or reset your power supply cable.

  8. Try restarting your printer.
