Why is my computer not detecting my digital camera?

Check all cables for connectivity between the computer and the camera.
Make sure that the camera’s power cable is securely connected to the camera battery.
Turn off the computer, unplug the power cord and reconnect it.
Review the manufacturer’s user guide for further instructions.
Check if the camera has a driver installed on the computer.
Install the necessary driver for the Camera if it is not installed.
Restart the computer.
