Here is a list of things you can try:
- Check that the router is correctly plugged into your modem and is also turned on.
 - Check that the modem is also turned on and that the modem is connected to your computer.
 - Check that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) has given you the right settings to connect your router to the Internet.
 - If you are using a wireless router, check that the wireless settings are correct. Ensure that your computer is connected to the correct wireless network and that your wireless password is correct.
 - If you are having trouble connecting to a wireless router, try to reset your router by pressing the reset button on the back of the router.
 - Ensure that any firewalls on your computer are configured correctly.
 - Check for any software that may be interfering with your connection, such as security, antivirus, and network monitoring software.
