It isn’t always easy to determine why your laptop’s touchpad isn’t working in certian programs. To troubleshoot the issue, you can try some of the following:

1. Restart the laptop.
2. Check mouse and touchpad settings to make sure the touchpad is correctly configured.
3. Update the laptop’s drivers.
4. Reinstall the programs where the touchpad isn’t working.
