How do I change the default app for opening certain file types on my laptop?

1. Open the Windows Settings menu and choose Apps.
2. Open the Default apps option.
3. Scroll down to the section labeled Choose default apps by file type.
4. To change the default app, click on the program you want to change the default to or click ‘Choose a default’.
