How do I know if an email or message asking for personal information is legitimate or a phishing attempt?
- Check the sender’s email address. Compare it to similar emails from the same sender that you have previously received.
 - Examine the content of the email. Be aware of any suspicious language and requests.
 - Never click on any email links without first confirming that they are legitimate.
 - Look out for poor grammar and misspelled words in the email.
 - Ignore any email or messages that ask for personal identity information, passwords, and credit card numbers.
