To change the default view for your discussion board in SharePoint, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your SharePoint site
2. Navigate to the discussion board you want to change
3. Click on the ellipsis (…) icon next to the board
4. Select Edit Default View from the drop-down menu
5. Make the changes you want from the ‘Select a view’ window
