Why is my PowerPoint presentation not displaying animations in slide show mode?

  1. Check that the PowerPoint presentation is not in Edit mode, which disables animation.

  2. Check the resolution settings and set it to 1024 x 768 and above for best results.

  3. Check if the animations or transitions added to individual slides are compatible with the version of PowerPoint that is being used.

  4. If the presentation fails to play animations, then try to disable hardware acceleration from system preferences.

  5. Check the compatibility of multimedia resources (videos, audio clips, etc.) used in the presentation with PowerPoint.
