- Confirm Thunderbolt connection is securely inserted to the port
 - Check the external monitor’s input settings
 - Check CPU / video card settings and settings in Display Properties
 - Update the latest graphics driver
 - Check Windows display settings
 - Try a different Thunderbolt cable and power adapter
 - Connect the external monitor to a different computer
 - Restart your computer
 - Reinstall the Thunderbolt driver
